Sweetheart

Leia has really turned out to be a sweetheart so far. She regularly tries to feed all of us, including her sister once she has satisfied the worst of her own hunger. Such a simple, primal gesture.

It caries through to sympathy as well. Both girls have come to comfort the other at times. This morning they learned how to climb on their private bench. Alisa fell backward and got stuck between the couch. Of course she wailed. I extricated her and stood her up beside the couch. From there I started stroking her and comforting her. Leia responded by sitting down, legs through the back of the bench, stroking Alisa's belly softly and cooing.

eric, this is wonderful stuff, all of it. if you'd have asked me the day before my daughter was born whether i wanted kids, i'd have said, not really. she looked up at me and that was that, and it's been great, if sometimes trying, since. kids make you see life anew, rediscovered, and with some hope. yes, that can happen without them, but there is a simplicity to it that's invigorating, particularly if one is prone, by temperament and training to put an intellectual superstructure on everything.

I usually do not comment, however after browsing a few of the
remarks on "Sweetheart". I actually do have some questions for you if you tend not to mind.
Is it only me or do a few of these responses appear like they are left by brain dead people?
:-P And, if you are posting on other places,
I'd like to keep up with everything fresh you have to post. Could you make a list of every one of all your public pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

When I originally commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get
four emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people
from that service? Many thanks!
